Preaching To The Choir

Blessed be the GHIN app. Can I get an amen?
I realize I'm preaching to the choir, but the GHIN app is like a Swiss Army knifeāit can handle almost anything except find lost golf balls.
Six years ago, I entered all the men's names from the MWF Men's group into the app because we form teams based on handicap indexes, and some men asked me for their handicap indexes. I think they believed that, as co-chair of the handicap committee, I knew their indexes. I didn't, but I could look them up. These days, it's different; no one asks because everyone uses the app.
The GHIN app offers many helpful features; one of my top choices is group scorekeeping, which I have used for my occasional Sunday two-team scramble. If it were individual stroke play, I could post each person's score in the group with their approval. Gone are the days when we posted our scores at the pro shop kiosk. Speaking of posting scores, remember to do it hole-by-hole.

Why Peer Review is Important:
Maintaining the integrity of the World Handicap System is a shared responsibility, not only the Handicap Committee's. Peer review plays a key role by ensuring all golfers compete fairly, preventing score manipulation, and upholding a community-verified handicap system.
